My choir uploaded a 2 minute video to myfoxdetroit.com or foxdetroit.com and we were chosen to be one of the four finalist to be in the Color Purple Choir contest. Based on the number of votes, the 1st prize is opening for The Color Purple when it comes to Detroit this month.

When you get a chance, please log on to myfoxdetroit.com, search for : The Color Purple Contest, view the video, register and vote for us. (the registration may be a little long but once you are registered you can vote once an hour until 12 noon on May 15.)

My choir is called
"The Jim Dandy Ski Club Jammin' For Jesus Gospel Choir" and we are singing "Jesus is The One", an original song by our Choir Directress - Mildrea Smith.

You can vote every hour starting May 5 through May 15. Hope you'll vote for us often. Feel free to give this info to other friends and family, in and out of town.

JDSC Golf League

It's that time of the year again to begin thinking about scheduling your Golf Tee-Time.
The Jim Dandy Ski Club Golf League is scheduled to begin the "2008" Golf League Season on Sunday May 18, 2008. We will be Teeing Offf at Evergreen Hills/Beech Woods Golf Course in Southfield, MI at 4 P.M. The Green Fee is $200.00 for nine holes and 12 weeks of Tee Time.

I am looking for Dandy cyclists to ride in the ZOO-DE-MacK bike bash adventure. It is May 16th-18th with the actual ride on May 17 starting at Boyne Highlands to Mackinaw Island (can do 51 miles or the shorter ride 25miles).
