Rifle River Canoe & Camping Trip

The day started out in Michigan dark overcast and with heavy rain . Before I left home I received several calls of people canceling due to the weather. In Dandy style we pressed on to the rendezvous point. Several more people decided to head back. We drove up to Kingsville Ontario to rendezvous with the ferry and several more people turned around and headed back. The brave souls that were left decided to give it a try and we loaded our bikes on the ferry in the rain. We took our 1.5 hour ferry ride to the island and when the ferry door opened the sun was beaming. We had a beautiful 75-80 degree day and a very nice winery tour and bike ride. The ice cream at the end of the ride was good too. Back in Michigan it rained all day
